Explore the beauty of Balkan region through culture

Nestling on the eastern side of Europe surrounded by the sea on three
sides, the region of the Balkan nations is an important location at the
crossroads of Europe, Central Asia and the Mediterranean. The
spectacular Balkan countries of Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia – Herzegovina,
Albania, Montenegro, Slovenia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Bulgaria and Rumania
are binded together by the glories of its rich history. It is a
magnificent landscape endowed with most famous tranquil hill stations,
snowclad mountains, long coastlines, devotional and historical places.
The Balkan region is also called “a chain of wooded mountains” in
Turkish. The region has been invaded many times in the past and has been
occupied and settled by many different people, each of whom have left
their imprint on the current inhabitants of the Balkan countries. There
is no end to the breath-taking sites visitors can see in the towns of
Sofia , Belgrade, Bucharest ,Skopje, Tirana, Novi Sad ,Cluj and , Zagreb
to be found across various Balkan states. The region is culture
