The Prime Minister of Japan visits the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Prime Minister Abe holding talks with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman

On April 30 Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and attended a banquet hosted by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at King Faisal Palace.
Following this, there was a meeting with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman, and after that, the Prime Minister attended a signing ceremony.
After the meeting, the "Joint Statement on the Strengthening of the Comprehensive Partnership between Japan and Saudi Arabia" was issued.
The following day, on May 1, the Prime Minister delivered a speech on the theme of "Japan's Ties with the Middle East in a New Age of Synergy, Mutual Prosperity, and Cooperation" at King Abdulaziz University.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister attended a meeting with members of an economic mission.
