India a Nation with Culture, Pride and Patriotism

“Satyam-eva jayate” or “Truth Alone Triumphs” is the national motto of India that gives out a symbolic message for everyone around the World was adopted from the ancient scriptures of Mundaka Upanishad. Every year since 1950 the national pride of this great nation swells in a patriotic spirit when India celebrates Republics Day on 26th January. The makers of modern India Mohandas Gandhi (Gandhiji ) the father of the Nation, Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, Jawaharlal Nehru the first Prime Minister of India ,the martyrs of the Indian Independence movement will be remembered with profound respect as the nation listens to the wonderful patriotic song “Vande Mātaram” or "I bow to thee, Mother".




 Today more than sixty five years after gaining Independence from the British Raj in 1947 ,the country is a cradle of democracy where its billion citizens can live together in peace and harmony .The country has made significant strides and it is all changing and changing fast. It was through continuing efforts and widening its horizon in number of sectors that progress was made towards stability and wellbeing of the country. As India leaps into the future, the cultural revival in the twenty eight States and seven Union territories has come about because of the scio-economic and political growth in the past decades. Large cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Chennai have been vigorous cultural and academic centers for centuries. Indian art that dates back more than three millennia changed with the changing character of the people. India is a magnificent landscape endowed with most famous tranquil hill stations, devotional and historical places. 

During its long history, the Indian sub continent had to endure numerous invasions. Each of the invaders who ruled left their imprint on the current inhabitants of the country. Ancient India left some of the most magnificent works of art and literary monuments to be rediscovered by the present generation. The country is gifted with most magical Fortresses, Palaces, Hindu temples, Sikh Gurdwara’s , Mosques , Churches and studded with many archeological sites. Among its highest-esteemed attractions in the country are the iconic white marbled Taj Mahal palace , the 17th century Red Fort complex constructed in 1639 by Emperor Shahjahan ,the 42-metre tall hexagon complex India Gate is the national monument of India situated in the heart of New Delhi, the Golden Temple are some of the most famous places of interest to visit in India .Also there are many other UNESCO World Heritage spots located in various states. “Namaste” is the Indian common way of greeting outsiders with both palms placed together and raised below the face. India is a place where the people not only love food and shopping but are also lovers of music and dance. The Indian Hindi, Tamil ,Bengali and Malayalam cinema Industry has won praise in India as well as in the west . Indian Bollywood Hindi cinema industry has given the world some of its greatest movie starts such as Amitabh Bachchan ,Amir Khan and Shahrukh Khan. Movies such as Mother India and Madhumati were extremely popular in the late 50s during the “Golden Age” of Hindi cinema. The countries culture from ancient times to most recent times has been one of impressive in richness. India is a unique place to visit for its contrasts, high cultural interest and for its spectacular natural atmosphere
